DESCRIPTION:Photography Exhibition "Contatti"\nEvent of fund raising at Pastificio Cerere Fundation\, April 29th\, 2016\n\nThe “Onlus Gabriele” would like to present the photographic exhibition “Contatti”\, a fundraising event in support of the NGO “Good Hope”\, which will take place on the 29th of April 2016 at 7pm. The event will be held in the Spazio Cerere of Rome\, Via degli Ausoni n 3.\n\nOutside of our own borders\, Italian photography is experiencing a golden moment and the interest on behalf of curators\, critics and international institutions is shifting towards this new Italian Wave.\n\nIn recent years\, young Italian authors have obtained among the most important international awards in the field of photography. In 2014\, Nicolò Degiorgis won the Paris Photo- Aperture Foundation First PhotoBook Award with his work Hidden Islam. In 2015 the Prix du livre d’auteur of the Recontres d’Arles awarded Tommaso Tanini for H. said he loved us. Finally\, in the same year\, Alessandro Calabrese was chosen between the 2015 Foam talents with his A Failed Entertainment work.\n\nIt has been indeed from these photographers that the curator Alessandro Dandini de Sylva began his selection of fifty young authors who today bring life to the photographic scene in Italy.\n\nThe exhibition will offer an insight into the works of these artists and\, inevitably\, into the new new horizons and tendencies in the field of photography. From portraits to landscapes\, from the documentary-style to the continuous one\, from studio still life to abstract images.\n\nFifty photographs\, one per author\, donated in support of the Onlus Gabriele (created by Amandine and Riccardo Amici) will support projects in defence of childhood\, in honour and loving memory of their son Gabriele\, a special eight-year old who battled and lost against acute myeloid leukaemia.\n\nAll of the photographs will be on sale for the public for 250\,00 euros.
